It is only one of many tools to use as a springboard of ideas.

Like you, I would develop the character first and let him/her play out a little and then see what sign was the closest; then comb it for tidbits to spice things up.Rahma Krambohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03665417367388858304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7229715023661506537.post-83166022993774223432011-04-28T23:45:17.212-07:002011-04-28T23:45:17.212-07:00This is the first blog post I've ever seen abo...This is the first blog post I've ever seen about utilizing astrology with our characters! So I give you kudos! I always created my characters knowing their astrological signs, but over the years, I've learned not to let it restrict me. Now, as of my last two story ideas, I've let the character take shape in the first chapter or two before I decide on a sign for him/her. If I chose a sign for a character, I began basing everything back to his/her chart and it just involved so much more research and restrictions -- not to say that I didn't enjoy the research!

But anyways, it's definitely good to use as a guideline for a character but don't let it repress or hinder the character!Jessica Mhttp://atombaby.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7229715023661506537.post-78613246140997260042011-04-28T17:56:06.409-07:002011-04-28T17:56:06.409-07:00I remember Linda Goodman's Love Signs.
